Murad Cigarette Cards
There was a group of cigarette cards printed by S. Anargyros of New York for Murad Cigarettes Tobacco Silk S21 and S22 circa 1910’s – it portrayed Baseball, golf, track and HOCKEY.
Sports cards like this were printed by Murad Cigarettes 19011-1912 promoting sports of several well-known universities of the day. The back of the cards had a list of the schools.
Syracuse University Hockey was portrayed in the Second Edition of the Murad Cigarettes Cards – Metropolitian Standard, College Series 1-25.
A Syracuse Hockey Player card is fine shape is valued at $115 (2019),
while a SU Football card is only valued at $89 (2019).
